Network engineers will be performing emergency core router maintenance in the Buffalo, NY datacenter today at 6PM EST. The maintenance is related to a software fault in the operating version of the router software discovered this morning. The fault is critical enough that we have determined the best course of action to maintain stability of the network is to perform the update as soon as possible. This maintenance will require that the core routing infrastructure be rebooted. The downtime is estimated to be less than two minutes, however we have set the maintenance window to five minutes to cover routing table population and BGP convergence. Please direct any questions in a support ticket. We appreciate your patience with this matter. We apologize for the short notice.
Node 1 (mo1.mineocityhosting.com) is currently getting hit by a few DDoS attempts. We are working to resolve these and get the full network back online ASAP. Please be patient.
12:33am EST: The attacks have been stopped for now. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed.
